Iran's 92 kg weight representative defeated his opponent a wrestler from Bahrain and qualified for the finals of the Asian Championship.

Iran PressAsia: In the continuation of the second and final 5-weight competition of the 2024 Asian Championship in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in the semi-finals, defeated Magomed Sharipov, the Russian-born wrestler of Bahrain and the holder of the bronze medal in Asia 2023. With this 10-0 wining Iranian wrestler advanced to the final game of the competitions.

Earlier, Firozepur won the first round against Satoshi Miura from Japan in 5 minutes and 12 seconds with an excellent score of 11:0. In the next round and in the quarter-finals, he won against Sohe Gang from China with a score of 11-0 and went to the semi-finals.

In the continuation of these competitions, Hossein Abu Zari at 74 kg and Amir Hossein Zare at 125 kg weight will face their rivals in the semi-final stage in a few minutes.

Earlier, Reza Atari lost to his opponent from Kyrgyzstan in the semi-final stage of 61 kg weight. Hadi Vafaipour also went to the losers group after losing to Azmat Dolatbekov of Kazak in the weight of 86 kg.
