The Iranian Vice President for Women and Family Affairs held a meeting with Nigeria's minister of women's affairs on the sidelines of the UN Commission for Women Status (CWS) session.

Iran Press/America: The Iranian Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Ensiyeh Khazali arrived in New York's John F. Kenedy to on Sunday take part in the 68th annual meeting of the UN Commission on Status of Women.

Earlier, Iran's Vice President for Women and Family Affairs met with the Head of the UN Commission for Women Status (CWS) and called for addressing the unfair cancelation of Iran's membership in the commission.

The CSW68 is the UN’s largest annual gathering on gender equality and women’s empowerment currently being held at the UN headquarters with the participation of representatives from member states and will run for 12 days. 219
