Lula da Silva, the left-wing president of Brazil, has taken over the leadership of the country by defeating Jair Bolsonaro.
Da Silva was the president of Brazil from 2002 to 2010, which was the best period of Iran-Brazil relations.
During his trip to Brazil, in addition to participating in the official inauguration ceremony and banquet of the new president of Brazil, Hosseini will meet with some heads of state and senior officials present at the ceremony.
Meeting with Muslims and Iranian nationals residing in Brazil and examining ways to develop bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic field, in the meeting with the officials of the host country, have been announced as other plans of the vice president of Iran during his visit to Brazil.
With more than 8 million square meters, Brazil is the largest and most populous country in South America with a population of 212 million.
Brazil is the 10th largest economy in the world and has developed economic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
