The Quds Base of Southeast Iran has announced the capture of four terrorists linked to the recent attack in Goharkouh, Taftan, which claimed the lives of ten police officers.

Iran PressIran news:  According to a statement, the IRGC forces, alongside local intelligence and security units, conducted a drone-assisted operation that killed four members of the terrorist groups involved.

Four additional suspects were apprehended following an intensive pursuit, with several others wounded.

The Quds Base pledged to continue the operation until all suspects are detained.

The attack, which took place on Saturday, October 26, resulted in the tragic loss of ten officers from Iran’s law enforcement forces in the Taftan area. This incident, according to Iranian officials, follows recent escalations by "hostile actions" from Israel amid tensions with resistance groups in the region.

Earlier,  Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations has called on the UN Security Council to issue a strong condemnation of a deadly terrorist attack carried out by the group known as “Jaish al-Adl” in Iran’s southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan province.
