Iran Press/Europe: President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Moscow on Friday, January 18, at his counterpart's official invitation, to enhance bilateral relations and finalize a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation.
Upon arrival at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport, Pezeshkian was welcomed by Russian Energy Minister Sergei Sivliyev and the Russian head of the two countries' Joint Cooperation Commission, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko; ambassadors of the two countries, Kazem Jalali and Alexei Dedov; and some other Russian officials.
On Wednesday, the Iranian President embarked on a three-day journey to Tajikistan and Russia. Concluding his two-day visit to Tajikistan today and departing from the capital, Dushanbe, he headed towards Moscow.
