Tehran (IP) -Despite the ongoing propaganda against Iran's oil industry and its energy diplomacy approach, the growing number of foreign oil companies participating in the 28th Oil Show clearly indicates rising trust in Iran's oil industry.

Iran PressIran news: The exhibition, scheduled to start on Wednesday, will feature 1750 oil industry-related companies, including 250 foreign companies from 12 countries, including Russia, China, Germany, France, Japan, Belarus, India, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Austria, and Argentina.

The director of the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, Gholamreza Jamali, made the remarks during a press conference on May 6 in Tehran, highlighting the significant achievements of Iran's oil industry over the last two years, which he attributed to the support of the Minister of Petroleum. Jamali noted that the exhibition, which opens to the public on May 8, is not only one of the largest oil exhibitions in Iran but also in the West Asia region.

The exhibition will feature a dedicated space for knowledge-based companies, technological companies, universities, and start-ups to showcase technological innovations in the oil industry. Additionally, numerous side events are planned, which are expected to lead to the signing of contracts and memorandums of understanding in the oil industry, ultimately boosting production and economic results.

The slogan of this year's oil exhibition, "Oil industry, production leap, technological optimization," reflects the focus on technological advancements and meeting domestic needs while also exporting to other countries. The exhibition will also provide a platform for direct connections between private and public sector activists, which is crucial for the oil industry's growth.

The International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, also known as Iran's Oil Show 2024, is held annually by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) with the support of the Petroleum Ministry. The event will take place from May 8 to May 11 at Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
