Budapest (IP) - Iran's newly-appointed ambassador to Budapest, Morteza Moradian, presented his credentials to Katalin Éva Veresné Novák, the President of the Republic of Hungary on Friday.

 

Iran PressEurope: During the meeting, they reviewed a range of cooperation between the two countries in the political, scientific, academic, and cultural fields.

In the meeting ceremony, while conveying the greetings of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the President of the Republic of Hungary, Moradian called the relations between the two countries good and developing.

Referring to the holding of three rounds of meetings of the joint commission for economic cooperation between the two countries in Tehran and Budapest, the ambassador said that the fourth round of the meeting is scheduled to be held at the end of autumn.

In this meeting, Katalin Novák expressed her satisfaction with the good relations between Iran and Hungary in various fields and described the capacities of the two countries to develop relations especially in the economic, scientific, and cultural sectors as satisfactory.

The President of the Republic of Hungary also called the presence of students and Iranians in Hungary a success.
