TEHRAN (IP) - The Ministry of Health in Iran has been actively promoting health tourism, providing medical services to over 1.2 million health tourists last year.

Iran Press/Iran news: Hossein Farshidi, Deputy Health Minister, highlighted the ministry's success in expanding health diplomacy, with plans to deploy health attaches to various embassies worldwide.

In an interview with Iran Press, Farshidi mentioned that the Ministry of Health is collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to station health attaches at embassies, starting with the Iranian embassy in Iraq.

Additionally, agreements have been made to send health attaches to countries in need of such services. 204
