Tehran (IP) – Tehran’s Chief Prosecutor has filed an indictment against 14 individuals involved in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in 2020.

Iran PressIran News: Ali Salehi announced that corruption on earth, contribution to intelligence and espionage for the Zionist regime, collusion aimed at disrupting Iran's security, and endangering the Islamic country’s security are among the charges of the 14 individuals.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, then head of the Iranian Defense Ministry’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, was assassinated in a terrorist attack in Absard town of Damavand County in Tehran Province on November 27, 2020.

Early in 2018, Israeli sources acknowledged that Mossad had tried to assassinate an Iranian nuclear scientist, but its operation failed. 

Between 2010 and 2012, four Iranian nuclear scientists (Masoud Alimohammadi, Majid Shahriari, Darioush Rezaeinejad, and Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan) were assassinated, while another (Fereydoon Abbasi) was wounded in an attempted murder.
