Tehran (IP) - In a live press conference on Tuesday, Iran's Judiciary Spokesman declared the Judiciary's support for the new Iranian Government (14th Administration) led by elected president Masoud Pezesbkian.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Judiciary Spokesman, Asghar Jahangir in a weekly press conference on Tuesday stressed that to provide the basic needs of people all branches must cooperate with the government.

"This is one of the strategies that the president-elect has expressed in his speech. For the progress of the country and the prosperity of the society, the Judiciary Branch in fighting corruption and prevention of crimes is ready to cooperate with the new government to perform its duties effectively, Asghar Jahangiri said.

Iran's President-Elect Masoud Pezeshkian will be sworn in before the parliament next Tuesday (30 July) as the 9th President and the head of Iran's 14th administration,

Also, the Endorsement ceremony of the President-elect will be held on Sunday (28 July) by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Iranian current and former high-ranking officials including the head of the Supreme Court of Iran, members of the Guardian Council, and the Judiciary chief, military senior commanders as well as former presidents and parliament speakers will participate in the events.

"The President in the legal time of 15 days will present his nominees for cabinet ministers to the parliament for a vote of confidence," Jahangiri said adding that the swearing-in ceremony takes place after the President-elect receives an official endorsement by the Islamic Republic Revolution's Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

Jahangir condemned Israel's genocides in Gaza and said that Israeli regime actions in Palestine are "absolute inhuman behavior and against human rights violation."

Judiciary spokesman on the latest development in the case of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani's assassination said: "3,300 people filed complaints against preparators of the crime in the judiciary, the case is open and law process are underway both in legal and criminal aspects.

Jahangir said that another case has also been filed in the criminal department against 73 defendants, including Donald Trump, US former president, and Mike Pompeo US former State.
