Iran’s judiciary chief met the Iraqi President and Parliament Speaker to discuss judicial and legal cooperation.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ebrahim Raisi met on Wednesday with Barham Salih stressed the need to develop bilateral relations in various fields, activate memoranda of understanding and signed agreements, as well as judicial and legal cooperation and coordination.

Raisi also met with the Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi, discussing the expansion of bilateral ties. 

In a meeting with the families of the Iraqi martyrs at the Iranian embassy in Baghdad this evening, Ebrahim Raisi stated that the blood of martyrs had guaranteed the security of Iran, Iraq, and the region.

He paid tribute to all the martyrs and all those who lost their lives to preserve the sovereignty of Iraq.

He also noted that the blood of martyrs Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis had led to Islamic unity.
“Today, honor and authority belong to Muslims, and the US power is declining,” Raisi pointed.

He also conveyed the warm and cordial greetings of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the families of the Iraqi martyrs.

still, Iran's judiciary chief met separately on Wednesday with a group of Sunni and Shia scholars and influential figures in the Iraqi political and social arena.

Stating that today the enemies are seeking to create a dispute in the Islamic world, he said: "The Islamic Republic emphasizes the strategy of unity and cohesion among Muslims and everyone must move towards the realization of this strategy."

Raisi stressed the need to expel the Americans in accordance with the law passed by the Iraqi parliament, adding: "As long as the Americans are in the region, this region will not be safe.”

Iran’s Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Baghdad on Monday night on a three-day visit at the official invitation of Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zidan.
