Damascus(IP): Secretary of Iran’s High Council for Human Rights Kazem Gharibabadi has arrived in the Syrian capital of Damascus to investigate the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Gharibabadi, heading a high-ranking Iranian judiciary delegation, arrived in Damascus on Tuesday to attend the first meeting of the tripartite joint judicial committee of Iran, Iraq, and Syria aimed at countering terrorism.

He was welcomed by the president of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Syria.

The meeting will focus on exchanging views regarding terrorism and terrorist groups, particularly ISIS, and their cases being investigated in the courts of three countries.

One of the main topics of discussion will be the cooperation in prosecuting terrorists and implementing justice and legal prosecution of the Zionist regime's attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

Israeli warplanes bombed the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, on April 1, killing two senior Iranian commanders who were on an advisory mission in the Arab country, as well as five of their accompanying officers.
