Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers delivered an impressive performance at the U17 World Championships 2024 held in Amman, securing a total of four medals, including two golds.

Iran Press/West Asia:  Armin Shamsipour and Amir Mahdi Saeedi-Nava clinched gold medals in the 48 kg and 65 kg categories, respectively. Their outstanding victories contributed to Iran's strong presence on the international stage.

In addition to the golds, Emadreza Mohsen-Nejad earned a bronze medal in the 80 kg category, while Ali Asghar Dadbakhsh took home another bronze in the 110 kg category. Amirali Heidari also represented Iran in the 55 kg category, finishing in fifth place.

The Iranian wrestling team's success in these championships underscores their talent and determination, further establishing Iran as a dominant force in the world of Greco-Roman wrestling.
