Iran Press/ Iran news: The senior Hezbollah commander Wissam al-Tawil also known as “Jawad”, was martyred in an Israeli attack; he was the deputy head of a unit in the elite Radwan force.
Nasser Kanaani said on Monday that such evil acts could never compensate for the irreparable loss inflicted on the Israeli regime by the October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and its failure in its three-month war on Gaza and the West Bank.
Kanaani warned the international community over the Israeli overt adventurism to extend the scope of the war in the region and noted that the continuation of the regime's war on Gaza and simultaneously violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon and Syria are considered an immediate threat to the regional and international peace and security.
The Iranian MFA spokesman also extended his condolences over the martyrdom of Wissam al-Tawil to the Lebanese nation and government, stressing the Islamic support for Lebanon's unity and security and the country's right to defend itself against the Israeli regime. 219
