Iran Press/ Iran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed the latest developments in the region with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement.
Amir-Abdollahian and al-Nakhalah held a joint press conference later.
Referring to the sanctions imposed on Iran due to its support for the oppressed Palestinian nation, the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said: "Iran has paid the price for this support."
The Palestinian official added: "They follow the issues of resistance and Palestine with great importance, and Iran's active diplomacy has played an important role in Palestinian resistance."
Nakhale emphasized: "Iran has always supported the Palestinian nation in the past years, and this has led to the stability of the Al-Aqsa storm operation"
Ziyad al-Nakhalah also met with the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei on Friday. 219
