Iran’s Foreign Minister held a meeting with Lebanon’s Prime Minister in Beirut for talks focusing on the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

Iran PressWest Asia: The meeting took place on Wednesday evening following the top Iranian diplomat’s talks with resistance leaders as well as Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

Amirabdollahian arrived in the Lebanese capital earlier on Wednesday for his third regional tour since the Gaza war began on October 7.

His current tour, which began as a ceasefire was announced in Gaza, focuses on a complete halt to the Israeli regime’s crimes against people in the besieged territory, the lifting of the regime’s blockade as well as the durability of the truce, among others.

In a presser held on Wednesday in Beirut, Iran's Foreign Minister paid tribute to the souls of Palestinian and Lebanese journalist martyrs, namely the two journalists who were martyred in southern Lebanon.

Regarding his trip to Beirut, Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote on X: "In today's meeting, I was informed about the latest developments of Gaza and the West Bank."

Iran's Foreign Minister also added that he had met the resistance officials in Beirut.
