Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs left Dmasucus for Tehran on Tuesday morning after meeting with Syrian officials.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held meetings with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad in Damascus to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al-Asad, said Tehran will give a response to and punish Israel for its recent terror attack against the Iranian diplomatic premises in the Syrian capital of Damascus.

During the meetings, the development of cooperation between Iran and Syria, with a focus on increasing business interactions, as well as discussions on important regional and international issues, were on the agenda.
