Iran Press/ Asia: Accompanied by Oil Minister Javad Owji and other top officials including Science, Research and Technology Minister Mohammad-Ali Zolfigol, Iran’s first vice president, Mohammad Mokhber, put emphasis on employing domestic companies’ capabilities, state-of-the-art technologies, and relying on knowledge-based firms’ expertise in the oil industry.
Owji briefed Mokhber on the achievements in the oil industry and said the Ministry of Petroleum is taking advantage of knowledge-based companies’ technologies and has outlined plans to control energy consumption in the future.
The 27th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition kicked off today and will be open to visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (0530 to 1330 GMT) until Saturday.
