Iran Press/ Iran news: Farzad Piltan, the director general of the West Asia Department of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI), said that according to the customs statistics, countries of the Persian Gulf bloc, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Türkiye, in the first four months of this year, experienced 20,850,000 tons worth seven billion and 230 million dollars of exported goods from Iran.
Piltan added that exports to the countries of the West Asian region show an increase of about three million dollars in terms of value and nearly three million and 800 thousand tons in terms of weight compared to the same period last year.
"In terms of the share, Iran's exports to the West Asian bloc were about 45.4% of the country's total exports to the world, which shows an increase of about 4.4% compared to the same period last year," added the Iranian customs official Piltan.
He enlisted Iraq, Türkiye, and the UAE as the other countries for export destinations placed after China in the first four months of this year.
