Iran Press/Iran news: "The sabotage attempt to stop Iran's nuclear industry, never came to fruition," Salehi reiterated.
Regarding Iran's gradual pullback and scaling down of its JCPOA commitments, Salehi added: "As president Rouhani has said, our goal is to preserve the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). They didn't lift the sanctions, so, we decided to reduce our obligations and commitments."
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) also said that the current level of uranium enrichment is now very close to what it was before the JCPOA was signed, Iran Press reported.
Last month, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced that an IAEA inspector was prevented from entering the Natanz Enrichment Facility because a detector found she was carrying dangerous or suspicious substances.
Following the incident, America's secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, announced in a press conference that the US was terminating its sanctions waiver relating to the Fordo nuclear plant.
Ali Akbar Salehi added: "According to AEOI, all the stuff carried by IAEA inspectors should be carefully monitored and controlled by going through various detecting machines when entering any of Iran's nuclear sites. When the IAEA female inspector went through such a detector an alarm was set off, warning that she was carrying banned or dangerous materials.
