Iran's deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy arrived in Riyadh this morning to participate in the special meeting of the World Economic Forum.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Alireza Enayati, Iran's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, welcomed Iran's deputy foreign minister for economic diplomacy at the Riyadh airport.

Safari has traveled to Saudi Arabia to participate in the special meeting of the World Economic Forum with the slogan "international cooperation, development, and energy" with the presence of heads of state and economic policymakers of member states.

The purpose of this meeting is to find solutions for global challenges related to humanitarian issues, climate change and economic issues.

Also, Iran's Minister of Economy, who has traveled to Suadi Arabian,  will hold bilateral meetings with the representatives of different member countries while attending the golden celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the bank.

The four-day meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) group in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, started yesterday.

Finance ministers, Islamic finance experts, and representatives from financial institutions, private sector and non-governmental organizations gathered for the annual meeting of this group.

In this regard, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammad Al-Jeddan stated: "This year's annual meetings were held at a critical time when the world is facing multiple simultaneous crises, the most important of which are climate change and economic crisis, which have led to an increase in global inflation."

Last year, the annual meeting of this bank was held in the port city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
