Iran Press/ Iran news: Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, in his message of condolence after the attack on the Mirjaveh border unit, expressed deep sorrow for the loss of brave Iranian officers.
He wrote, "The tragic martyrdom of several courageous members of the Law Enforcement Command, who were defending the borders of this country in the Mirjaveh region, has once again brought a wave of grief to the nation of Iran."
He emphasized that, "Once again, the criminal hand of global arrogance and Zionism emerged through cowardly terrorist groups and corrupt elements, imposing sorrow upon the noble and resilient people of our country."
The Minister of Defense conveyed his condolences to the Supreme Leader, the Commander-in-Chief, and the families of the victims, while also offering solidarity with the grieving comrades of the fallen officers.
He declared, "The Islamic Republic of Iran will take decisive action against those responsible for this heinous crime, without any hesitation or leniency."
The terrorist attack occurred last night when the vehicle of the Mirjaveh Border Unit in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan was ambushed.
The attack resulted in the martyrdom of three officers: Lieutenant Mohammad Amin Narouei, conscript soldier Parsa Soozani, and conscript soldier Amir Ebrahimzadeh. Additionally, a civilian was injured in the attack.
The terrorist group Jaish al-Zulm claimed responsibility for the shooting in a statement.
