Raisi in Army Day:

Tehran (IP) – Pointing out that no foreign power can ensure the security of the region, Iran's President said that the region could rely on the Islamic Republic's power to ensure regional security.

Iran PressIran news: Troops from all units of the Iranian Army have held military parades across the country to mark the National Army Day.

The National Army Day, which is celebrated annually on April 18, was named by the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, in 1979.

Delivering a speech on Wednesday on the occasion of National Army Day, Ebrahim Raisi addressed the regional countries and said that Iran's armed forces ensure the security and peace of the region and could be relied upon instead of foreign forces.

He referred to the consecutive failures of the Israeli regime against the Al-Aqsa Storm and Ture Promise operations by Palestine and Iran, noting that the empty elegance of the Israeli regime and its allies collapsed.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a retaliatory strike on multiple locations in Israel early morning on April 14, in response to an Israeli terrorist attack.

On 1 April 2024, an Israeli airstrike destroyed the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing 16 people, including a senior Quds Force commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, and Mohammad Hadi Haji.

There again, referring to Iran's recent operation against the Israeli regime's aggression on Iranian soil, Raisi called the operation a wise, accurate, and rapid action Iran took to punish the regime, the one which the world acknowledged as a point of authority for Iran.

He recalled that the Iranian operation was a limited, not an inclusive, response to the Israeli aggression and stressed that if it was supposed to be inclusive nothing would remain of Israel.

President Raisi referred to the so-called phrase "all options are on the table" used by the US authorities to threaten Iran but now there is no such rhetoric because of the high military power of the Iranian armed forces.

He said that some countries in the region sought to normalize their ties with the Israeli regime out of fear of the US, but with the recent defeats of the Israeli regime and its supporters, they failed to do the normalization.

The Israeli regime's crimes in Palestine and the recent defeats of the regime brought the world's nations with different beliefs and religions to join Iran to unanimously cry for the freedom of Palestine in different languages.
