In a recent statement, Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh, declared that the Iranian Army possesses the capability to "take control of the skies" and deliver devastating strikes against adversaries, thanks to the country’s growing drone capabilities.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh highlighted the significant collaboration between Iran’s defense industry and the military, which has enabled the successful integration of these advanced drones. He noted that the Iranian Armed Forces have reached a considerable level of proficiency in utilizing drones, deploying a variety of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) across the army, air force, navy, and air defense branches.

“Our drones are not only capable of conducting defensive and integrated operations but are also equipped for landing and taking off from the sea,” Nasirzadeh said. “Additionally, these drones support ground operations and have created a new operational capacity within the army, allowing us to dominate the skies and deliver lethal strikes when necessary."

The Minister also emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing the performance of these drones. He confirmed that AI is being integrated into the UAVs, optimizing their capabilities and enabling them to adapt to a wide range of operational environments.

Nasirzadeh further underscored the advanced nature of Iran's military equipment, stating that while military exercises often showcase only a portion of the country's capabilities, Iran’s defense industry is also developing unexpected and powerful technologies that are ready for deployment when needed.

“We will never allow any enemy to act with impunity or arrogance,” Nasirzadeh declared. “The unwavering commitment of our commanders and the tireless efforts of our self-sufficiency scientists have driven our defense industry to achieve great progress, enabling us to meet the needs of our military forces.”

In closing, the Minister explained that the production of military technology, including drones, is a dynamic and ongoing process, shaped by continuous monitoring of operational needs and advancements in global technology. The Ministry of Defense is working closely with various organizations to ensure that Iran’s military stays at the cutting edge, particularly in the development of FPV drones (First-Person View), which are designed for modern warfare.
