Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran has provided the European Union with its conclusion on the talks aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
In an interview with Iran Press, Deputy Chief of the Iranian Parliament’s Commission for National Security and International Policy, Abbas Moqtadaei, called today's closed meeting of the MPs unique and fruitful.
He added: "In addition to the representatives, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Iran's chief negotiator, and officials of the Atomic Energy Organization were present in the meeting."
Moqtadaei said: "Views and opinions were raised, and now there is a need for consensus at the highest level, which was achieved to a large extent."
Moqtadaei added: "In the previous meetings, Iran's conditions in the talks were observed, and the meetings in the National Security Commission will continue."
The member of the National Security Commission emphasized: "The essential issue is to ensure the interests of the Iranian nation and to comply with the strategic law by the parliament, which is always considered."
Moqtadaei said: "The US side should make its political decision, and if it considers the interests of the Iranian nation, an agreement is available."
Moqtadai emphasized: "The Parliament acts strictly because we must ensure that Iran's interests are provided at the highest level."
