Iran Press/ Middle East: Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.5 and 7.8 on the 6th of February shook the southern regions of Türkiye and northern Syria, as a result of which more than 38,000 people died in Türkiye and more than 5,000 people in Syria.
From the very beginning of the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria, the Islamic Republic of Iran voiced readiness to provide relief to the earthquake victims, and immediately, in addition to sending humanitarian aid, the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran also sent rescue workers to these countries to help the earthquake victims.
According to Iran press news agency; Iran's ninth humanitarian aid plane is carrying 12 tons of food to help the people affected by the earthquake in Aleppo city.
The earthquake in Aleppo completely destroyed 54 buildings and killed 500 people and injured a large number of citizens, 750 of whom are hospitalized.
Last night, the eighth plane carrying 20 tons of Iranian humanitarian aid arrived in Aleppo.
So far, 26 countries of the world have sent their aid in the form of 130 planes to the people affected by the earthquake in Syria, regardless of the US sanctions.
