In their second match of the 2024 7-a-side Football World Cup in Barcelona, Spain, the Islamic Republic of Iran's national team triumphed over the Republic of Ireland with a 3-0 victory.

Iran Press/ Europe: Iran secured three points to remain at the top of Group 4 with six points. The goals for Iran were scored by Mehdi Bakhshi, Hossein Tezbar, and Mehdi Shokohi.

Iran’s 7-a-side football team is set to face Germany in their third match of the group stage on Friday.

The 16th edition of the 7-a-side Football World Cup is being held in Barcelona, Spain, with 15 teams participating. The tournament will continue until November 23.
