Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking at the Iran- Russia trade conference, Gholamhossein Shafei said that Iran-Russia trade in 2021 includes three million dollars of Iranian imports from Russia and $972 million of exports to Russia and that this amount has grown significantly compared to last year.
Shafei noted: The efforts should be made to remove obstacles, including facilitating the issuance of visas for the two countries.
He further said that the trade negotiations between the parties are also being completed, and with the implementation of free trade between Iran and the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, a large part of the obstacles to trade development will be removed.
Shafei pointed out that due to its east-west corridor and Chabahar port, Iran can develop its relations with Eurasia and be the basis for the cooperation of countries like India with the Eurasian Economic Union.
