An Iranian parliamentary delegation and officials of the Russian Federation Council, in a meeting, have urged the necessity for reaching a consensus among the friendly states of Palestine to end the Israeli crimes and establish a ceasefire in Gaza.

Iran PressEurope: Vahid Jalalzadeh, the head of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, who has traveled to Moscow as the head of a delegation, held a meeting with the deputy speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, on Monday.

Jalalzadeh said that investigating the latest developments in the region, especially the crime that the Israeli regime committed in the Gaza Strip, and finding new ways to stop the brutal killing of the Palestinian people are the purposes of the trip to Russia.

Describing the US as the main role player in the current event in the region, he underlined that Washington is now leading the Tel Aviv War Room1.

Kosachev, for his part, said that Tehran and Moscow have similar positions on condemning the Israeli regime’s crimes in Gaza and cooperating to stop this brutality.
