Tehran (IP) – Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has reiterated the Islamic Republic's steadfast commitment to supporting the Resistance Front, emphasizing that this support remains a "principled policy" of the nation.

Iran PressIran news: Araghchi made these remarks during a meeting with Sayyed Abdallah Safieddine, the representative of Hezbollah in Iran, on Sunday.

Safieddine conveyed congratulations from Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, to Araghchi on his recent appointment as foreign minister. He wished Araghchi success in his new role, reflecting the close ties between the two leaders.

In response, Araghchi expressed his gratitude for the warm wishes and extended his regards to Sayyed Nasrallah and the fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement. He reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for Hezbollah and other groups that constitute the Resistance Front, particularly in their struggle against Israeli aggression.

The discussions between Araghchi and Safieddine focused on the latest regional developments, with particular attention to the anti-Israeli resistance in Lebanon, the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, and the situation in the occupied West Bank.
