Macau (IP) - Iran's young Wushu athletes stood third at the end of the Asian Junior Wushu Championships.

Iran PressAsia: Iranian Wushu players bagged eight gold, three silver, and two bronze medals in the 11th Asian Junior Wushu Championships.   

The 11th Asian Junior Wushu Championships took place in Macau from August 17 to August 20. Iran won 13 medals in total across Sanda and Taolu divisions, securing third place overall.

300 athletes from 23 countries attended this competition.

China won 8 gold, two silver, and one bronze medal in the Sanda division. Iran earned five gold, one silver, and two bronze medals, placing second. Kazakhstan came in third with two gold, two silver, and four bronze medals.

China won 16 gold, three silver, and one bronze medal in Sanda and Taolu. Macao earned 13 gold, 12 silver, and nine bronze medals, placing second, and Iran also stood in third place with eight gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.
