President Raisi:

Tehran (IP) - The Iranian President said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always stressed the development of relations with Qatar and considers the development of bilateral relations as something that can further enhance regional and international cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressIran News: Responding to the phone call of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, on Tuesday, Ebrahim Raisi congratulated Eid al-Adha to him and the people of his country, saying: "With regard to the close views, Iran and Qatar have good potentials for the development of bilateral, regional and international cooperation."

Appreciating the efforts of the Emir and Prime Minister of Qatar in advancing common plans and agreements with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Raisi said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stressed the development of relations with Qatar and considers the development of bilateral relations as something that can further enhance regional and international cooperation between the two countries."

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, for his part, offered his sincerest congratulations to the Iranian President and nation on Eid al-Adha and expressed readiness for increasing economic cooperation and investment in Iran.

He said: "With regard to the good dialogues and negotiations that have been carried out in this regard, we are ready to hold the Joint Commission of Economic Cooperation in the near future."
