Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the inauguration of Iran's second major hospital, "Ghadir," at Tajrish Martyrs Hospital, Ebrahim Raisi emphasized Iran's status as a hub for health tourism in the region. He also stressed the importance of special attention to medical specialists and staff in the country.

Raisi highlighted that individuals from various backgrounds and regions visit the hospital.

He stated, "Health tourism is booming in Iran. The work done by doctors and specialists in universities in the country, after the victory of the Islamic revolution, is highly valuable and can be presented to the region and the world."

The president further added that Iran's progress in health has positioned the country at a very high level. He assured that if any problems arise, the government is prepared to address them promptly.

Raisi pointed out that health tourism in Iran has reached such a level that patients from regional countries and even Central Asian countries prefer to come to the country for treatment instead of European countries. This preference is due to both lower costs and expertise available in Iran.

The latest data on health tourism in Iran reveals a significant increase in visitors seeking medical treatment within its borders. The country's reputation for providing quality healthcare services at affordable prices has attracted patients from neighboring regions and Central Asia.

Iran's success in becoming a prominent destination for health tourism can be attributed to its well-established healthcare infrastructure, highly skilled medical professionals, and advanced medical facilities. The government's commitment to continuously improving healthcare services has further contributed to this growth.

Iran has recently significantly invested in expanding its healthcare sector, including building new hospitals and medical centers with state-of-the-art technology. These developments have benefited local patients and positioned the country as an attractive option for international patients seeking high-quality medical care.

The affordability of medical treatments in Iran compared to European countries has been a significant factor driving the influx of health tourists. Patients from regional governments and Central Asia have found that they can receive the same level of care in Iran at a fraction of the cost.

Furthermore, Iran's medical professionals are renowned for their expertise and specialization in various fields. The country's universities have produced highly skilled doctors and specialists capable of providing advanced medical treatments.

The government's commitment to addressing any issues that may arise in the healthcare sector demonstrates its dedication to maintaining Iran's position as a leading destination for health tourism. This commitment includes continuous investment in healthcare infrastructure, training programs for medical professionals, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources.

As health tourism thrives in Iran, it is expected to attract more international patients seeking affordable, high-quality medical treatments. With its growing reputation as a hub for health tourism, the country is well-positioned to contribute significantly to the region's healthcare industry.
