Iran Press/ Iran news: The latest results show that presidential candidate Masoud Pezeshkian keeps a slight lead over Saeed Jalili with 5,955,781 votes with 41.46% of all votes.
Counted votes so far: 14.070.462
Massoud Pezeshkian: 5.955.781 votes, earning 42.32% of counted votes
Saeed Jalili: 5.560.321 votes, earning 39,51% of counted votes
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf: 1.891.385 votes
Mostafa Pourmohammadi: 111.967 votes
The polls closed at midnight local time on Saturday (20:30 GMT on Friday), ending a 16-hour-long voting process.
The snap Iran's Presidential Election was called after President Ebrahim Raisi was martyred along with seven others including late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir- Abdollahian on May 19, when the helicopter carrying them crashed in northwestern Iran.
More than 61 million Iranians have been eligible to vote in the election.
