Iran Press/Asia: The hospital administration welcomed the Iranian ambassador in the ceremony. On this occasion, the Iranian ambassador started the prize draw for the hospital staff, and the names of the staff who won the prizes were announced. Addressing the staff of the hospital, Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam said that there are immense opportunities for cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in the field of medicine and we are keen that there should be visits of doctors and medical staff between the two brotherly countries, so that modern medical discoveries can be shared among themselves, which will be possible to bring innovation in the treatment facilities. CEO of the hospital Haroon Naseer thanked the Iranian Ambassador on this occasion and said that Pakistan and Iran are two brotherly countries and the announcement of prizes by the Iranian Ambassador today is a moment of happiness for the staff.
Talking to Iran Press, Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam said that he was very happy to come here and the announcement of prizes to encourage the staff in the hospital is a very good step. He said that on this occasion, we should not forget the doctors and staff who are performing their duties despite the Israeli aggression and persecution in Gaza and Lebanon. He added that On the other hand, hundreds of doctors and staff have become victims of Israeli cruelty and aggression and have become martyrs, but the Israeli regime is making everyone a victim of its cruelty.
Haroon Naseer, CEO of the Maroof International Hospital, while talking to Iran Press said, "Today it was an engagement event for our employees and the Iranian Ambassador graced us with his presence, we talked about employee engagements, motivation, we had an award distribution ceremony for employees and we shared this moment with Iranian Ambassador and our brothers in Iran. We talked about collaborating in different medical fields including research, surgery, and liver transplant, so it was a knowledgeable sharing talk. We also discussed what we can do for the people of Palestine and Lebanon. Our doctors are there to serve our Muslim brothers, we have certain volunteers who are present there and if there's anything required including supplies and human resources, we are here to serve. This (issue) can be talked about in the private sector, as well as the public sector and it has to be done at the national level. And we are here to participate in terms of whatever we can do, in that campaign I assure you that every Muslim in Pakistan and the world would want to participate because that's the brutality, extremism, and something no one can see".
Expressing her views with Iran Press, Director of International Projects Rubina Afzal said, "The doctors and paramedical staff working in Palestine and Lebanon, we virtually stand by them in their relentless efforts and struggle to save humanity, I salute all of them because the trauma they are witnessing every day, every microsecond rather is unbeatable. Because our investors fought for freedom for years and centuries we understand what it means to have your nation and homeland out of all these traumatising situations. We stand by them and encourage them to continue the services they are providing to humanity and their brothers".
On behalf of the hospital administration, a briefing was also given to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Reza Amiri Moghadam about the ongoing projects and facilities available at the hospital. 204
