Iran Press/ Asia: The Iranian Ambassador congratulated Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on his election as Speaker of the National Assembly and expressed his best wishes.
Speaker National Assembly said that promoting close contact between the parliaments of the two countries is the need of the hour, The Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline is an important project to meet Pakistan's energy needs and to increase economic cooperation.
Talking about regional scenarios the speaker of the National Assembly said that due to their geographical location, Iran and Pakistan have a unique position to promote regional and global trade and improve the quality of life of the people on both sides of the Pak-Iran border.
On this occasion, Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam said that Iran values its brotherly and friendly relations with Pakistan, and both countries are making full use of the opportunities available in various trade and investment sectors. The Iranian ambassador said the Iranian government is keen to promote cooperation with Pakistan in economic and social fields.
Given the expected visit of the Iranian President, he said that the results of this visit will further promote cooperation in all fields, including the economic sector, between the two countries.
