Iran Press/Iran news:The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Najafi, met with the chairman of Oman's consultative assembly Shura Council Khalid bin Hilal al-Ma'awal, in Muscat on Wednesday, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Oman National Day.
Referring to the formation of a parliamentary friendship group with Oman in the Iranian parliament, Ambassador Iran stressed the importance of the relationship between parliamentary friendship groups and specialized commissions in the two countries' parliaments.
Omani side also said that Corona had prevented face-to-face meetings between Iranian and Omani officials and expressed hope that the meeting between parliamentarians would resume after the virus.
