Iran Press/Iran news: Iran Navy on Wednesday unveiled its latest advanced multi-purpose Combat and Intelligence gathering Destroyer with the name of Zagros in Konarak and unveiled the largest Iranian navy hub in Jask in the Gulf of Oman equipped with specialized docks with the most advanced equipment.

Iranian Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces noted Iran's Naval missions of maritime security in the Sea of Oman, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, and international waters, seas, and oceans said: We need Zagros Destroyer with its valuable Intelligence-Gathering in our naval fleet lacking in our fleet.
"Zagros Destroyer was designed and built piece by piece, and assembled by Iranian young scientists, Army and Navy experts with the assistance of Iranian Defense Industries, Defense Ministry, Major General Bagheri said.
Bagheri said the Sea of Oman and the Makran coast a precious gems and the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been a pioneer in the exploitation of valuable coasts and activating the Konarak and Chabahar coasts for more than 10 years by developing maritime infrastructure.
