Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei Hamaneh has strongly condemned yet another attack launched by the United States and UK on Yemen as part of their efforts to protect the Zionist regime and its interest in the West Asia region.
The repeated military aggression by the US and Britain against Yemen is a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and fundamental principles of international law. Baghaei stated in a release on Saturday, urging the international community to take note of such violations and hold Washington and London accountable for their illegitimate and illegal actions.
He believed that the primary cause of ongoing insecurity and instability in the region was the Israeli occupation and the warlike and expansionist nature of Zionism. He stressed the importance of halting the regime's aggression against Lebanon and the genocide in Gaza as essential steps towards restoring peace and stability in the region.
Beqaei stated that the resistance of the people of Yemen and other Islamic nations in the region is in response to the crimes of the Israeli regime against the Muslim people in Palestine, and it is obvious that the illegal use of military force by the United States and its allies against the visionary people of Yemen will not affect their determination to defend the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
