Beirut (IP) – The Iranian parliamentary delegation held a meeting with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the interim government of Lebanon.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Iranian parliamentary delegation headed by the Head of the Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Vahid Jalalzadeh, met with the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri on Thursday evening.

The two sides discussed ways to deepen relations, especially parliamentary ones.

The Iranian parliamentary delegation also met and talked with Abdallah Bou Habib, the Foreign Minister of the interim government, and Fadi Alame, the Head of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Lebanese Parliament.

In these meetings, the latest regional developments as well as ways to expand political and economic cooperation between Iran and Lebanon were discussed.

The Iranian parliamentary delegation is in Lebanon until Sunday, and it is expected to have a meeting with Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah.
