Iran Press/ Iran news: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei received the members of the Assembly of Experts for a meeting on Thursday.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Hezbollah’s extraordinary evolution is beholden to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated in an Israeli strike on Beirut outskirts in late September.
Ayatollah Khamenei commemorated the memory of resistance martyrs, including Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, senior official Seyyed Hashem Safieddine, Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, and Iranian military commander Abbas Nilforoushan.
Iran's Leader stressed: "Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah left behind a lasting legacy."
Ayatollah Khamenei said: “Over nearly 40 years, Hezbollah has successfully compelled the Israeli regime to withdraw from various locations, including Beirut, Saida, Tire, and southern Lebanon. This series of retreats demonstrates an increasing capability over time, leading to the regime's complete withdrawal from cities, villages, and highlands throughout Lebanon.”
The Leader further highlighted the accomplishments of the Palestinian resistance movement against the Zionist Israeli regime, stating that "the Palestinian resistance has achieved victory against the Israeli regime nine times since 2009."
Ayatollah Khamenei also remarked that the Israeli regime has not succeeded in eliminating the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, despite receiving extensive support from the US and other Western nations.
Iran's Leader added: "Hamas continues to fight and wage its struggle. This signifies the defeat of the Israeli regime."
