President Raisi:

Dushanbe (IP): Iranian President referred to the fact that Iran and Kazakhstan have many and various economic capacities to upgrade the level of transactions and cooperation, saying that through joint committees, the capacities could be identified and operationalized within the strategic ties framework.

Iran PressAsia: On Friday, on the second day of his visit to Tajikistan, Ebrahim Raisi, during a meeting with Kazakh President Kassym Tokayev, described the developments in Afghanistan as a common issue for all countries in the region, saying: "Afghanistan's problems can only be resolved through the formation of an inclusive government with the participation of all ethnic groups that can bring peace and stability to the country and the avoidance of foreign countries' interference in Afghanistan's affairs."

The Iranian President stressed that Iran seeks to resolve the nuclear issue through dialogue, saying: "Of course, as it has been stated before, we do not want negotiations for negotiations, and we are looking for negotiations that will lead to a solution to the problem and reach a result."

The President of Kazakhstan also stated that his country is interested in strengthening its relations and interactions, especially in the economic field, with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"Communication and transit lines centered on Chabahar port can be the center of economic relations between Iran and Central Asian countries," said Kassym Tokayev.

Tokayev added: "Kazakhstan fully agrees with the opinion of the Islamic Republic of Iran and considers the formation of an inclusive government with the participation of all ethnic groups as the only way to solve Afghanistan's problems."

The 21st Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit kicked off today (Friday) in Dushanbe with the participation of the leaders of 12 member and observer states, including Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
