Tehran (IP) - The Head of the University of Tehran Science and Technology Park has announced Iran's readiness to cooperate with Japan.

Iran PressIran news: During a meeting at the Tehran University Science and Technology Park with Kazutoshi Aikawa, the Japanese Ambassador to Tehran, Ali Asadi, the head of the park, announced the "digital economy" as one of the requirements of the Seventh Development Plan.

He stated that Iran is eager to enhance collaboration with Japan's knowledge-based companies and utilize their capabilities. Additionally, Iran is prepared to collaborate with Japan in developing joint knowledge-based products.

"This can be achieved through the participation of science and technology parks from both nations," he added.

The Tehran University Science and Technology Park is Iran's oldest and largest center, housing approximately 300 knowledge-based companies.

Kazutoshi Aikawa extended an invitation to Asadi to visit the Japanese Science and Technology Park, as well as Japanese universities. He emphasized the prestigious academic standing of Tehran University and suggested developing effective technologies and creating opportunities for student exchange programs between the University of Tehran and Japanese universities.
