Iran's ambassador to Italy and the Italian President of Confindustria agreed on the establishment of a joint working group for the development of economic cooperation.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Ambassador, Mohammad-Reza Sabouri, and the President of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi evaluated the cooperation capacities of the two countries in various fields, including energy, agriculture, technology, and tourism on Thursday.

Referring to the economic record between Iran and Italy, the Iranian ambassador emphasized the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.

Pointing to the great capacities for economic cooperation, the Iranian diplomat called for the cooperation of the governmental and the private sectors of the two countries,

"The Italian private sector is ready to help the development of economic ties between Iran and Italy by using its capacities.," stated the Italian economic official, voicing the readiness of the country for bilateral cooperation.

Confindustria is the most powerful Italian industrial organization. It has brought together more than 150 thousand companies in 250 different sectors.

Iran and Italy enjoy rich historical, cultural, and civilizational records.
