Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Foreign Minister and his Iraqi counterpart have exchanged views over the current developments in Palestine and the genocide in Gaza during a telephone conversation.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein have exchanged views over the current developments in Palestine and the genocide in Gaza during a telephone conversation.

Amir-Abdollahian referred to the latest diplomatic moves and consultations on the part of the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing the continuation of the war crimes by the Zionist regime and the mass killing of civilians, especially women and children, as well as the huge military support given by the United States to the Zionist regime as the main cause of the escalation of the current crisis. He noted that the escalation of the war against civilians in Gaza will inevitably lead to the expansion of the war.

The Iraqi foreign minister for his part said during the telephone conversation that all Muslim countries should take action in concert to support the Palestinian people. He called for an immediate stop to attacks on Palestinians and prevention of the spillover of the war into other parts of the region.
