Iran Press/ Iran news: The US$20 million Shahid Hamid Bakri solar plant can be expanded by an additional 10 MW.
The plant inaugurated by the Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade Abbas Aliabadi, can generate up to 10 MW of electricity annually.
During the inauguration, Aliabadi emphasized the positive impact the new power plant would have on the local economy. It is expected to create job opportunities for up to ten individuals from the surrounding area, particularly in maintenance and cleaning roles.
"Given the high number of sunny days in the northern province, the establishment of such power plants holds significant potential for supporting the local industrial sector and encouraging further development," Aliabadi added.
