Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs stated that the upcoming election on September 11, 2020, will be held by observing all hygienic protocols.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a session of the Social-Security Committee of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus on Wednesday, Hossein Zolfaqari said, " All candidates and individuals who are responsible for holding elections are required to comply with health protocols and social distancing."

Emphasizing controlling and containing the virus in order to decrease the infection rate, Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs added that fingerprints will be removed in the upcoming elections.

On the 30th session of the Social-Security Committee of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus on Wednesday, Hossein Zolfaqari referred to controlling the disease through smart social distancing, a database being prepared and made available to all organizations.

To protect both employees and clients, decrease the infection rate, and implement all health protocols, the organizations are obliged to prepare a one-year plan with the Health Ministry's cooperation, Hossein Zolfaqari said.

Elaborating on the decreasing rate of infection in Tehran, Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs said that all organizations are urged to carry out their activities with one-third of their employees by the end of August.
