Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Wednesday, Mojtaba Zonnour referred to the arrest of the leader of the US-based Tondar terrorist group, and the country's support of the actions of anti-Iranian terrorist groups, noting: “Today, Iran's intelligence apparatus has complete control over all terrorist and anti-revolution groups.”
Referring to the importance of arresting the leader of the Tondar terrorist group, he said that due to the strength of the Iranian security apparatus, the leaders of terrorist and anti-revolution groups feel insecure and have nightmares.
“Despite all the advanced equipment of the enemies, the intelligence capability of the Iranian security apparatus is unique,” he added.
The Tondar terrorist group was founded in 2004 by a man named Fathollah Manoucheri known as Forood Fouladvand. This person announced his goal of forming this group to overthrow the Islamic Republic within a year. "Your TV", owned by Forood Fouladvand, is the publicizing and broadcasting platform for the group. After the disappearance of Forood Fouladvand, another person named Jamshid Sharmahd introduced himself as the leader of this group.
In 2008, Sharmahd designed and carried out an explosive attack on the Seyyed al-Shohada mosque in Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province, in which 14 people were martyred and 215 were injured in the terrorist attack.
Sharmahd was arrested on August 1, 2020, by Iran's security forces.
