Tehran (IP) - The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran on his Twitter referring to the current protests in the United States stated that signs of decline in the United States are apparent.

Iran Press/Iran news: The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Twitter on Monday night referred to the current protests in the United States following the brutal murder of a black American citizen by US police and the escape of US President Donald Trump to the basement of the White House, emphasizing that these developments have shown further signs of the decline US administration.

Various American cities, especially Minneapolis, Minnesota, are the scene of protests by racist police.

A white American police officer brutally murdered black American citizen George Floyd in Minneapolis on Monday last week.

In recent days security at the White House has been reinforced by the National Guard and additional personnel from the Secret Service and the US Park Police.

Since the beginning of the anti-racism protests in the United States, 1700 people have been arrested in 22 cities.

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in various cities Sunday night for the fifth night to protest the killing of George Floyd by police and the deaths of other blacks in US police custody to protest violence.

Ali Shamkhani also referred to the sending of five oil tankers carrying Iranian gasoline to Venezuela despite US threats emphasizing that the US superpower's claim and the threat of war, assassination and sanctions were dispelled by the presence of Iranian oil tankers in the Caribbean.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has sent five fuel tankers to support the Venezuelan government and people, which are under US economic sanctions. The Iranian tanker Petunia crossed the Caribbean Sea earlier on Tuesday, following the same route as vessels Fortune and Forest. The Fortune arrived on Monday at a port serving PDVSA’s El Palito refinery.
