Tehran (IP)- The representative of Qom people in the parliament said: "In the incidents of November of 2019, 5,000 law enforcement officers were injured and the number of dead was 230.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mojtaba Zolnour told reporters on the sideline of one of the meetings of the Social and Law Enforcement Committee of the National Task Force for Combating Corona: "There may be plans in any country that are implemented with weakness or strength; in November of 2019, there were incidents in which made people unhappy after the downing of the American drone."

He added: "The incident of November of 2019 was natural because the people who are defending their ideas and expressing their protests, but since the soft war is on the agenda of the enemy, they are trying to achieve it with a street clash."

Regarding the amount of damage caused by the events of November, Zulnoor stated: "497 state centers, 422 public vehicles, 230 public or public sector cars and 569 public vehicles, 991 bank branches, 53 police, military, and Basij bases and 123 fuel stations were destroyed or got on fire."

The representative of Qom noted, "If the tanks with a large volume of fuel supply centers were on fire, they would destroy everything to the radius of 500 meters, which is difficult to destroy, but the rioters were trained for it."

Regarding the number of people killed and injured in the incidents of November, he said that the counter-revolutionary elements had announced that 1,500 to 10,000 people had been killed in the incidents of November, adding that 2,000 people were bystander at the scene and 5,000 law enforcement elements were injured and 230 people were killed, six of whom were law enforcement elements, and 20 percent of whom were missioned to restore law and order who did not have official membership, such as the Basij and the voluntary forces."

Zulnoor said 22 percent of those killed had previous records of criminal perpetration or criminal conviction, noting, "7 percent killed in armed clashes, 16 percent killed indirect attacks on law enforcement, defense and security places with cold weapons, and 26 percent were killed with an unknown reason."

The MP noted that 31% of the dead were killed in the attack on public centers; these people were who were in the large chain stores, banks, gas stations, mosques, seminaries, university centers, diagnostic laboratories of the Ministry of Health, and the private sector, and gas stations.

Asked if there are the detainees that had been tortured or killed, the MP said: "We did not have any reports of anyone being killed or tortured after their arrest. Most of the detainees were arrested to calm the situation, but those who did not play a significant role in the riots were released. 212/ 101
